7 things you will only know if you celebrated Christmas in Norwich in the 90s

Tinsel and ceiling garlands were a must for decorations, and in 1996, more than 21 million people watched the Only Fools and Horses Christmas special.

Here we take a trip down memory lane to see how Norwich celebrated Christmas in the 1990s.

For many, a last-minute trip to Woolworths was a highlight of the festivities.

Toys, decorations and wrapping paper filled the store with festive offers inviting passers-by in.

A standout part of the shopping trip was the huge selection of pick and mix, better known as "pick and nicks", which featured dozens of individually wrapped treats.

Over the years, Woolworths had several stores across Norwich including a branch at St Stephens Street and a Big W store at Riverside Retail Park.
