The man, aged in his 30s, was arrested on December 23 last year after a grey VW Golf crashed into a building in City Road - which was later found in Cyprus Street.

He was arrested on suspicion of drink driving, dangerous driving, failing to stop at the scene and failing to report an accident.

However, a charge is yet to follow and police have confirmed the man has had his bail extended for a third time - to May 1 - after originally being bailed until March 24 and again until April 6.

The 44-year-old, who founded the business in 2006, said: "The front of the premises is being repaired this week, but it's been out of action for the last four months.

"Unfortunately it still can't be occupied by anyone but hopefully things will get sorted soon.

"We're hoping to take on a larger office space in Rose Lane in the near future, so we'll likely move out of the City Road building once that all goes through."

Mr Robinson confirmed that the business's clinical services in Adelaide Street and the clinic in City Road, next to where the incident happened, are still operating.

Neighbours living near the junction of City Road and Kensington Place were "shocked" to see the incident at the time.

Norman Mann was watching TV with his wife when they heard the incident, saying: "We thought two cars had collided to begin with until we went outside to see what happened.

"The front door, which has a big window frame, had been taken off and all the brickwork had come down around it."
