XO Kitchen has stopped opening for lunch service during the week due to increasing pressures on the hospitality industry.

The restaurant in St Georges Street, which serves asian fusion food, posted the news on social media on Monday.

The announcement reads: "Unfortunately, it’s time for us to stop our midweek lunchtime services for a bit.

"At the moment, in this current climate, it’s not worth us being open for them, and that’s the truth of it.
