Now the Northern Ballet has brought a fresh retelling of the story to the stage at the Norwich Theatre Royal.

Beautiful choreography, atmospheric scenery and special effects are combined to create a ballet that feels modern but retains elements that will keep traditionalists satisfied.

The story follows a teenage Merlin, who has been raised by a blacksmith, as he gets caught up in Camelot intrigues, two warring nations and a forbidden love affair.
