Jonathan Taylor, chief executive of the Sapientia Education Trust, has been appointed to the Department of Education's new 'RISE' team.

The 'regional improvement for standards and excellence' team has been formed to support "stuck" schools - which have received consecutive poor Ofsted inspections.
