Latest blow for school's rebuild as flooding fears stall planning bid
Firside Junior School in Hellesdon is set to be demolished and replaced with a "carbon zero" site on the same site as part of a government scheme to rebuild aged schools.
But despite the project being unveiled in July 2021 and the planning application lodged in August 2023, it is still yet to receive the green light.
Since plans were first submitted by the Department for Education, a series of delays have held the scheme up.
And the latest of these has seen Norfolk County Council object to the application amid fears the plans may result in........
