Norfolk's oldest person makes plans for her 108th birthday
Genna Brown has made a weekly visit to the Pier Hotel in Gorleston, her hometown, for more than 40 years and on Saturday afternoon the venue will host a party marking her 108th birthday.
Two years ago, she marked her birthday with a horse and carriage ride around Great Yarmouth, and last year she enjoyed a special spin around the town on a motorcycle.
When she was born on June 4, 1918, David Lloyd George was the British Prime Minister and the First World War was in its final months.

Born in Barking in Essex, Ms Brown moved to Great Yarmouth with an aunt and uncle when she was a baby, living in Maygrove Road, then Northgate Street and going to the Priory School.
