The James Paget in Gorleston welcomed delegates from the national New Hospital Programme (NHP) to its site to talk through progress of the hospital’s plans.

The hospital will be part of the first wave of clinics to be rebuilt, with construction set to begin between 2027 and 2028.

The project will prioritise replacing the most affected reinforced autoclaved aerated concrete (RAAC) constructed buildings first, followed by other areas of the hospital that remain operational.
