MP accuses council of trying to block his help for families with SEND children
South West Norfolk MP Terry Jermy is one of only two members of parliament who employ specialist SEND case workers.
It was prompted by a sharp rise in families seeking additional educational support for their children.

The county has seen a huge surge in such demand in recent years, with assessments for conditions such as autism and ADHD more than doubling in just four years.
While not essential to get support, such diagnoses can help youngsters get education, health and care plans - legal documents setting out the support they will receive.
