'Major win' after plans for railway station access improvements

Government officials have announced that detailed design work will be done on improvements to Wymondham Railway Station - which will end frustration for passengers for mobility issues.

There is currently no step-free access to platform two - the southbound platform - at the station.

Because that platform can only be reached via a Victorian footbridge, it means disabled passengers have to use the other platform to catch a train northwards to Norwich, so they can........
