Thousands flock to historic Wayland Show as it celebrates landmark 150th year
The long-running event traces its origins back to four annual fayres beginning in 1460, but it was not until the early 19th century that the Wayland Association is recorded giving prizes and arranging exhibitions of livestock, pets and garden produce.
This year's show aimed to reflect the region's rural traditions as well as the "countryside of the 21st century" - with modern attractions and entertainment alongside the time-honoured agricultural competitions.

Crowds watched farm animals judged in the livestock rings, including the much-anticipated first national show for the Norfolk Horn, a historic sheep breed native to Breckland.
In the Main Ring, entertainment included a horse-jousting stunt team, a working display of Suffolk Punch heavy horses, vintage tractors and the ever-popular Shetland Derby.
