West Norfolk Council has granted listed building consent for the 16th century stable block at St Mary's Hall at Wiggenhall St Mary, near King's Lynn to be restored.

The project includes work on the roof and interior of the property on Church Road to make it structurally sound.

Later converted into a ballroom in the Victorian era, the two-storey Grade II listed structure forms part of the grounds of St Mary’s Hall, which holds a Grade II* designation.
