Villagers have taken to social media to vent their fury over the mess pet owners leave behind at Snettisham, between King's Lynn and Hunstanton.

The RSPB, which manages the beach, has urged dog walkers to be more respectful.

Philippa Lee stormed: "I have just picked up 15 bags of dog poo from Snettisham beach - happy new year dog owners- there are four dog poo bins in the car park only a few steps away from where these were left.
