Police were tipped off about the threats made by Josh Chaplin, of Trafalgar Road in Great Yarmouth, by his mental health support worker after comments he made in August last year.

Sally Harris, prosecuting, told Great Yarmouth Magistrates' Court that the comments were made by Chaplin to a mental health nurse at Northgate Hospital.
