Formed in 2006, the BRICS alliance comprising Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa has evolved into a robust entity challenging the hegemony of the Western-centric global order. Initially conceived as a platform for economic collaboration, BRICS has transcended its original mandate, emerging as a pivotal player in reshaping geopolitical dynamics and redefining international relations.
