We’re sick of Tom Brady
In a social media world, the danger is being over-exposed, and when something is over-exposed ,it is no longer interesting ... if it ever was.
The year after Michigan won the 1997 national championship, Tom Brady won the starting QB job. He was pretty mediocre, throwing for 15 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. The team muddled through a 10-3 record which included a 45-31 win in the Citrus Bowl over Arkansas in a game much closer than the final score.
The next season Brady was locked into a contest for starting QB with the nation's top recruit, Drew Henson.
I would testify in court with my hand on the Bible that Henson was better. The only reason he's not a household word today is that he chose the wrong sport. He took George Steinbrenner's millions to play for the Yankees. By the time he reversed course and returned to football, the rust of five years away was too........
