The Arizona Republic's Community Advisory Board was created in 2025 to ensure that we're focused on issues that matter to Arizonans, as well as to write columns for azcentral.com and The Republic.

It is composed of topical experts, citizens like you, and a few writers. The board will encourage civil discourse and civic participation.

Republic Executive Editor Greg Burton sits on the board along with Republic Director of Community Relations Silvia Solis Garza.
