The fake electors from Arizona in 2020 knew what they were doing.
They tried to overturn the certified results of the state’s election and hand over the Arizona’s electoral votes to losing candidate Donald Trump.
They declared themselves the true electors of the state, which they were not.
Those who did the same thing in other states have been charged with crimes. And there is an investigation being conducted here by Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes.
One of those fake electors, state Sen. Anthony Kern, issued a statement on Monday saying he did nothing wrong, essentially trying to transform himself and others from perpetrators to victims.
“I will not let Gov. Hobbs, Attorney General Kris Mayes or Democrat Party ‘lawfare’ suppress my exercise of the rule of law or suppress my ability to preserve, protect and defend the constitutional freedoms that our republic was founded upon,” he said.
Actually, I think the republic was founded on the democratic principle that voters — not fake electors — decided elections.

Kern clearly doesn’t believe that. In fact, he introduced a resolution in the Senate that says “the Legislature, and no other official, shall appoint presidential electors.”
In other words, he’d like to take voters completely out of the picture.
Now, Kern is whining about being under investigation when, in fact, it’s long past the time for the fake electors to face real charges.
Kern says Gov. Katie Hobbs and Attorney General Mayes “want to send me to jail.”
No.
He’s doing that all on his own.
