Metallica Has Big Touring Plans for After Their Vegas Residency at the Sphere
Metallica will play a residency at The Sphere in Las Vegas this fall, then hit the road again in North America in 2027.

Metallica is about to kick off a sold-out residency at The Sphere in Las Vegas. But after that, the heavy metal icons are hitting the road, and they’re bringing Limp Bizkit with them.
The band has announced 12 North American dates, adding a dozen shows to their M72 World Tour. They’ll start in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, in May 2027 and end in Salt Lake City, Utah, a little over a month later. Along the trek, Limp Bizkit will serve as the featured act, with Swedish heavy metal band Avatar opening each show.
