13.06.2024

June is recognized as National Indigenous History Month – a time to celebrate the history, culture, and resilience of the over 630 Indigenous communities throughout our country. Your library card offers free access to an incredible selection of print and digital resources to celebrate!

New and forthcoming adult books include Medicine Wheel for the Planet by Jennifer Grenz. Dr. Grenz seeks an Indigenous path to ecological healing in this timely book. Using the teachings of the four directions of the medicine wheel, we can develop a worldview to protect the planet and make the significant changes necessary to repair our planet.

The flavours of Indigenous cooking are explored in Margaret Augustine’s book........
