“We continue to track ahead of last year’s pace,” said Mike Edgar, who hopes to reach the two-thirds level in the next week or two.

The area is buzzing with the tastes of the first annual Novemburger, he said.

“United Way burgers are selling well at all restaurant locations,” Edgar said, and plans are already in place to expand the Novemburger event in 2025 and beyond. “We believe this is likely to become a signature event for us, and I have heard plenty of good responses from the participating restaurants, and donors who have already enjoyed the specialty burgers.”
