Consumer Reports released its ranking for the best dishwashers of 2026 based on extensive testing of more than 100 models. The outlet analyzed basics like washing, drying, and ease of use, and other factors like energy-efficiency, noise, and cycle time.

“The best dishwashers can get dishes squeaky clean and almost completely dry while using minimal water and energy. They also run quietly enough that you forget they’re running at all,” it said.
