Plans for landmark building revealed... becoming university's 'front door' to city
Norwich University of the Arts (NUA) has been redeveloping the former youth charity Open building on Bank Plain since buying the site in 2022.
The final phase of its scheme to turn the old bank into a library, archive, café and gallery has now been submitted to Norwich City Council.
The old banking hall is currently being used as a workspace for students.

NUA acquired the site after the collapse of Open, which was running it as a venue, in 2020.
Plans submitted by NUA explain the scheme will "complete our vision for Bank Plain, cementing its place as the heart of the university and establishing it as our 'front door' to the city, its inhabitants and........
