City car park goes ticketless under new operator
Castle Quarter Car Park in Norwich is facing some major changes now that it has been taken on by Hozah AutoPay.
Drivers using the city centre spot will no longer have to worry about getting a paper ticket from today (March 16).
A spokeswoman for Castle Quarter said: "We have appointed a new car park operator and have installed automatic number plate recognition technology at both our car parks, taking effect from today.
“We have been and will continue to work closely with our new operator, Hozah, to ensure a smooth transition.”
Hozah detects vehicles when they enter and exit, and payments will be automatically taken after people have downloaded the app.
Drivers can also make card payments online by registering their vehicle details or by paying at the machines in the building.
Once the Hozah app is downloaded, drivers will be set up for parking across the UK and payments will be automatically paid for in Hozah-enabled car parks.
