Hugo & Daughters Spanish Deli Co launched on Norwich Market at the end of 2025 and has become the new home for Churros for the People's deli products. 

Churros for the People has been run by Hugo Malik for the past eight years, showcasing his love for Spanish cuisine and hospitality.

In December, Mr Malik and his daughters, Paulas and Ruby, took over the spot directly opposite and transformed it into a "vibrant" deli, which features an extended stock of Spanish products.

Its expansion has also made it one of the only stalls where people can sit and enjoy their food.

"It's still early days but December was very good for deli sales and the early signs are very encouraging.” Mr Malik said 

"The extra seating area that we now have is great and it brings a vibrant bar atmosphere." 

Mr Malik said the Perello Olives have been the deli's biggest seller since it launched.
