Lincoln Shopper, on Portersfield Road, which sells a range of groceries, was visited by inspectors for Norwich City Council on December 5.

During the inspection, the hygienic handling of food as well as the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building were found to be generally satisfactory.

But inspectors said major improvement was needed over the store's management of food safety.
