Former India coach warns of scrutiny for skipper Suryakumar Yadav if poor form continues
New Delhi: Former Indian assistant coach Abhishek Nayar has said that skipper Suryakumar Yadav’s form will be under scrutiny when he bats in the five-match T20I series against Australia starting from Wednesday.
The first match is set to take place in Canberra on October 29 and with Suryakumar producing a below-par performance in the Asia Cup 2025, all the spotlight would be on the senior Indian player. In a total of seven matches played in the continental cup, Suryakumar was only able to score 72 runs with a highest score of 47 against arch-rivals Pakistan.
