This Batmobile had once been on TV and is now up for auction

The Hero Batmobile from 1992 flick Batman Returns is going to auction. It comes with Chevrolet V8 engine paired with a three-speed automatic transmission.

New Delhi: The Hero Batmobile from Tim Burton’s 1992 film Batman Returns is one of the most recognisable Batmobiles in cinema history. It is now going up for auction in November, when it will be offered by Julien’s Auctions in partnership with Turner Classic Movies. Set to go under the hammer on November 23 in Los Angeles and online, Julien’s Auctions expects the car to sell for between $5 million and $7 million.

If it goes to that range, the Batmobile would set a new auction record for a movie car. It will then go past the $4.2 million paid for the Batmobile from the 1960s Batman television........
