New Delhi: Deepti Sharma and Renuka Thakur delivered a brilliant performance with the ball in the third T20I between India and Sri Lanka at the Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram on Friday, December 26.

Deepti picked up three to equal Megan Schutt’s record for the most wickets in the Women’s T20Is. She achieved the feat after dismissing Malsha Shehani in her last over. With that wicket, Deepti also became the third-highest wicket-taker in women’s international cricket, taking her total tally to 333.
