Wedding in a month, then murder: Delhi man’s body found in Gurugram drain

New Delhi: A 31-year-old man from Delhi, who left a restaurant after telling his family he had an urgent meeting in Gurugram, was allegedly murdered by his former colleague and her partner over a suspected financial dispute. His body was later found dumped in a drain in Gurugram.

The victim, Yuvraj Singh Manchanda, was due to get married in a month and was the sole breadwinner of his family. On September 6, Yuvraj went to Lajpat Nagar market with his sisters to buy a sherwani for his wedding. The family later stopped at the Golden Dragon restaurant at around 4:15 pm.
