New Delhi: Authorities plan to deploy over 20,000 police and Central Armed Police Forces personnel ahead of Saturday’s Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) protest against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar at Jantar Mantar. The likely turnout remains unknown.

Police have denied permission for the demonstration. CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke, however, said volunteers and supporters would proceed despite the restrictions.
