It's the time of year when our social media posts are filled with pictures of families donning their matching Christmas pyjamas.

But amid the cost of living crisis, for some it can be a luxury they simply can't afford - especially after splashing out on festive jumpers and other Christmas outfits.

Yet there are some relatively cheap ranges out there that don't have to cost a fortune.

Budget stores B&M and Home Bargains both stock their own designs of the Christmas attire, so I took a visit to both to see what they have available.

I was impressed to find that so close to the big day, both still had plenty of stock available in a range of sizes.
