I have an addiction. Whether it be a new facial serum that’s out or a bizarre tweakment that promises youthful skin, I am in.

I have tried some pretty wild things. I saw Kim Kardashian having a vampire facial once so I jumped on the trend. I found myself sitting in my local skin clinic having my blood taken, spun in a strange device and then after the plasma was collected from it, they injected it straight into my face. I have to say I didn’t notice much of a difference but it kick-started my obsession with trying weird treatments.

These days I am a big fan of Belotero Revive, a “skin booster” that’s injected into your face, and Profhilo, an injectable anti-ageing treatment, which I do get consistently.

Profhilo is mostly for your face but a friend of mine once decided her knees looked like they had the face of a baby on them. I can’t say I agreed but off she went to get Profhilo in the knees which she now swears by. I have to admit I once got it in my hands – but all I got was two very swollen looking hands and not much else. My hands are like shovels anyway, completely enormous, so that one........
