Wes Streeting has decided to “diplomatically duck” questions about running to replace Keir Starmer in a new interview.

As speculation grows about just how long the prime minister has left in No.10 before he is kicking out after a shocking 18 months in power, many expect the health secretary to throw his hat into the ring.

However, the MP for Ilford North told The Observer: “The closer I see that job and the pressure on Keir and the demands of that job, the more I wonder why anyone would want it.”

Streeting insisted Starmer has his full support – but refused to completely rule out........
