Colin Farrell has described the worst day he’s ever had on a film set, during which it took him 46 takes to do a single line of dialogue.

The Oscar nominee recently spoke to Stephen Colbert on his US talk show to promote his new Netflix movie Ballad Of A Small Player, when he described the unfortunate scene that played out when he was filming Minority Report back in the early 2000s.

“It was my birthday and I begged production of a $130 million film if they would not have me working,” Colin laughed.

Unfortunately for him, his birthday day off wasn’t granted, and instead he was given a 6.30am pick up time,........
