Claudia Winkleman is gearing up for the latest season of The Traitors

A new series of The Traitors is mere days away, and host Claudia Winkleman has promised an exciting tweak to the show’s usual format.

The BBC dropped a trailer for series four over Christmas, which depicts a mysterious “Traitor” sporting a red cape, in a switch-up from the garments’ usual green colour, leading to mass theories from fans about what it could all mean.

Claudia later added her two cents, telling the BBC: “All I will say is there’s something new, and what happens in this series is truly extraordinary with moments that made me gasp.”

“I can’t wait for people to see it,” she added. “The people who create the show, they have to keep on changing it… They tell me ideas, and I’m like, ‘Are you joking?’ So, yeah, I love it.”
