On May 19, Proposition #3 supporting funding for Wood Library will appear on the same ballot as the Canandaigua City School District budget measure. If approved, it would authorize the School District to levy and collect an annual tax for Wood Library in the amount of $1,120,923 starting with the 2026-27 tax bill.

As a property owner, the expected annual increase in your tax bill if Proposition #3 is approved will be modest:

• For a property assessed at $150,000, the annual increase is $3.75
