In a flood of economic and investment gibberish, glossed over with meaningless and deceptive political jargon, Prime Minister Mark Carney’s Liberal government this week officially outlined his plan to cover Canada with more government intervention. Backed by anti-market think-tanks, banks and corporate rent-seekers, Carney expanded his efforts to turn Canada into a bastion of state-managed investment.
