For more than two decades one of the great buzzwords that has infiltrated corporate and political communication is “resilience.” Initially associated with health care and psychology, resilience was defined as the ability of individuals to adapt well to adversity, trauma, tragedy, threats or significant stress, allowing individuals to “bounce back” or even grow and expand from difficult experiences.
