MASTERSON ONLINE: Lasting friendship a blessing

Over the past two decades I've written each spring about Ken Reeves, Don Walker, Dr. Bill Dill and myself, all lifelong Harrison best friends from the Class of 1965, gathering for an annual spring weekend reunion and fishing getaway on Bull Shoals Lake.
Although we've unavoidably missed the past two years, we were able to spend a rewarding and enjoyable evening over dinner with our spouses at Ken and Debbie Reeves' home in Harrison the other evening.
It was well past due for our reunion to refresh our 60-plus-year close friendships and exchange memories of all we shared with those still here and the ones departed since we were teenagers.
To me, such enduring best friendships, male and female, are reminders of what that means in our lives, which is expressed better than I can relate by these reported psychological observations below.
