The owners of Bungay Pet Supplies have announced they will shut their doors at the end of May, bringing an end to a remarkable chapter in the town's retail history.

Located at 19 Market Place, the premises have operated in various forms as an animal feed and pet supplies shop for almost 100 years, becoming a familiar fixture in the town centre.

The business was originally run by the Warnes family until the early 2000s. Current owners Karl and Tracy Jackson took over the shop nine years ago.
