Cameron Brown, 28, had been facing a possible jail sentence over an attack on a security guard at the Brook Hotel in Bowthorpe, near Norwich.

But 10 minutes into a hearing at Norwich Magistrates’ Court he slumped over the dock leading to a medical emergency.

District Judge Matthew Bone ordered the courtroom be cleared.

The court building was then evacuated as security staff rushed inside with defibrillators before paramedics arrived after a 999 call.
