Pub is told its new beach huts breaching planning rules
But a row of beach huts installed in a pub beer garden have certainly attracted the attention of the council.
The four sheds have gone up at the Crown, in Sheringham, as part of a six-figure renovation, which also involved new interiors, upgraded lighting and a fresh lick of paint.
But officials from North Norfolk District Council have said the structures, which offer shelter from the sea air for drinkers, breach planning rules and have told the pub's owners they will have to seek planning permission to retain them.

They said the pub will need to submit a retrospective application for the sheds by May 28 or it could face enforcement action.
A spokesman for the council said: "If they don’t submit the application by the date above then we would need to consider the matter further, but the team are following good practice by seeking to work with landowners to resolve breaches."
The Crown has been licenced as a pub since at least 1781, but it has been rebuilt several times, and the current building dates from 1935.
Stonegate, the chain which owns the pub, has been contacted for comment.
