As the new year begins, Mr Cowley is enjoying his amazing new slimline look and is "excited for the future" after completing an astonishing weight-loss journey.

Mr Cowley, 72 and the former owner of a galvanising metals company in Great Yarmouth, weighed more than 25 stone when he first joined the Scratby Slimming World group in May 2024.

He joined the group after his doctor told him he needed to lose weight following the diagnosis of a heart condition which put his health at risk.

It has led to him shedding 10 stone.
