The proposals have already been revised twice for the 81-bed hotel and are still being probed.

If approved, it would be the town's first branded hotel and be on part of the former Crane Fruehauf factory site off Cromer Road.

The main objection is from Norfolk County Council as Lead Local Flood Authority (LLFA) over the proposed sustainable drainage system.

Concerns raised include the current plans not being able to properly manage heavy rain and increasing flood........
