Rita McCluskey, 75, has no plans to slow down after more than two decades running the Adam and Eve in Bishopgate.

She will be celebrating the huge milestone on December 6 with friends and patrons who visit the pub throughout the day.

Reflecting on the last 25 years, she said: "It has flown by - I can't believe it!

"Taking it on at 50 years old was a challenge.

"I never thought I would still be running it 25 years later - not in a million years."
