It comes as an application for revamp work outside the unit 16A at the Royal Arcade has been withdrawn from Norwich City Council's planning portal.

The application, which was lodged in 2023, detailed how bosses at the arcade considered resurfacing the courtyard outside the shop and adding seating.

The proposals also included details to convert the empty unit into a bar but since no new documents have been filed to the council over the plans since 2023, the application has been withdrawn.
