West Norfolk Council has received outline proposals for 19 new properties at Terrington St Clement, near King's Lynn.

They would be built along Sutton Road, on land which is part of Eastgate Farm.

A planning statement says the development will include affordable homes and be in keeping with the area, while the site is linked to the nearby village by existing footpaths.

It adds: "Residential development boosts local economies by generating construction jobs, increasing demand for local goods and services from new residents, and boosting council tax revenue for councils."

The new homes will be fitted with solar panels and have ground source heat pumps installed.

A decision is expected later this year. If the outline proposals are approved, detailed plans must be agreed before work can start on the site.
