Man who livestreamed 'extreme racist abuse' is banned from using social media
Colin Racey, 44, of Valiant Close, appeared in court last week and admitted to sending a message threatening death under the Online Safety Act 2023.
He also pleaded guilty to livestreaming indecent or grossly offensive content under the Malicious Communications Act 1988.
Both offences took place in June and August 2025.
Racey was sentenced to 150 hours of unpaid work and a rehabilitation requirement.
He was also given a two-year Criminal Behaviour Order at King's Lynn Magistrates' Court, which will last until March 26, 2028.
The order bans him from livestreaming, uploading or commenting on online forums, and owning or participating in any social media channels.
It also prevents him from encouraging or taking part in any online content, livestreams, or broadcasts on social media platforms.
