I feel better with Trump in office, but I need lower grocery prices
It's the most wonderful – and expensive – time of year for many Americans, and it sounds like many of you are feeling anything but warm and fuzzy about the economy this holiday season.
In a recent Forum poll, we asked what you were seeing at the checkout lines buying groceries and gifts, and whether economic uncertainties from inflation to tariffs to taxes would curb your holiday spending this year.
Most of you felt uneasy about the economy overall and saw very little change when it came to grocery prices. But readers were as divided as ever about the culprits and solutions, and whether President Donald Trump's promises to cut costs will come to fruition in his second term.
